Nepal’s Postal Highway: Villagers wait for repairs

Nepal’s oldest road is 1,700km long, but much of it is not fit for vehicles.

Used by the postal service more than 70 years ago, the road has fallen into disrepair.

The government says it wants to turn it into a highway.

But after decades of promises, the people who live along its route are sceptical.
