Nepal: Village being swallowed up by flash floods

A village in Nepal’s southern plains is slowly being swallowed by annual floods.

Each year, more of the village disappears despite money being promised to build embankments as defences.

Residents claim corruption among officials is holding back the area’s development.

Al Jazeera’s Subina Shrestha reports from Raghunathpur in Saptari District.
