    A Tory MP has criticised the govt after it was revealed Royal Navy gunboats are readied to protect UK fishermen in the event of no Brexit deal.

    Negotiations are continuing in Brussels ahead of Sunday’s deadline.

    If no agreement is reached, EU vessels that are currently allowed to fish in UK waters will be barred from the beginning of 2021.
