NATO allies sign accession protocols for Sweden and Finland

Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “NATO allies sign accession protocols for Sweden and Finland” – below is their description.

Finland and Sweden have begun the process of joining NATO.

The next stage is due to be completed in Brussels later on Tuesday, with the signing of the accession protocol.

But if they do join, the contributions they offer will be very different – with Sweden still trying to recover from its recent policy of demilitarisation.

Al Jazeera’s Paul Rhys reports from Gotland, Sweden.
