    Muslim communities across Canada are struggling to accept the hateful act that happened in London, Ontario on Sunday.

    Salman Afzaal, 46, his wife Madiha Salman, 44, their 15-year-old daughter Yumna Afzaal and Salman Afzaal’s 74-year-old mother, Talat Afzaal were killed while out for an evening walk when a 20-year-old man drove into the family with his truck.

    Islamophobia is the expected motive of what police are calling a hate crime. The sole survivor, Fayez, 9, still doesn’t know what happened to his parents, older sister, and grandmother.

    Dawna Friesen reports on the tributes pouring in, and the trauma facing Muslims in this country.
