Nationwide ‘Clap for Carers’ to mark 72nd anniversary of the NHS

NHS leaders have said they need more money to prevent hospitals becoming over stretched in the event of a second surge in the coronavirus. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

Their pleas came on a day which marks the 72nd birthday of the NHS.

That anniversary will be marked in just a few minutes by people once again taking part in a clap for carers.
But while the nation creates another noisy thank you, are ministers hearing warnings about resources?
