National Housing Federation sorry for ‘unacceptable’ state of homes exposed by ITV News | ITV News

ITV News published this video item, entitled “National Housing Federation sorry for ‘unacceptable’ state of homes exposed by ITV News | ITV News” – below is their description.

For months now we have brought you a number of shocking and distressing reports, into the dreadful living conditions endured by some Housing Association and council tenants across the UK.

Today we confronted the boss of the body that represents the country’s 800 Housing Associations with the findings of our investigation – and asked her what she thought about the plight of those tenants, and what she proposed to do about it.

There was an apology, and a pledge to do better.

But as we pointed out, the fact remains that while complaints against Housing Associations continue to rise, so do the huge salaries of the people who run them.
