    Nasa has released the first video captured by the US space agency’s Perseverance rover as it was landing on Mars. The roughly three-minute clip revealed on February 22, 2021, shows a parachute being deployed and the rover being lowered before it touched down on the surface in a cloud of dust on February 18. Nasa also released the first audio recorded on the red planet, the sound of a faint wind gust.
