Myanmar’s volunteers help during Covid-19 surge as country grapples with post-coup fallout

South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Myanmar’s volunteers help during Covid-19 surge as country grapples with post-coup fallout” – below is their description.

Myanmar’s latest Covid-19 surge has been worsened by a shortage of medical workers, many of whom have been detained or have gone underground to avoid arrest because of their involvement in anti-military coup protests. The rise in Covid-19 deaths has led to medical volunteers making more trips to the cemetery than to hospitals.
