    There can have been no doubt in the minds of protesters who once again took to the streets in Myanmar, Burma as was, that they were taking their lives in their hands.

    And still they turned out – to condemn the military coup there a month ago.

    Yesterday 38 protesters were killed – the most yet in a single day. Among them was a 19-year old university student known as Angel who died, her friends say, in the name of democracy.
