Myanmar’s military chief, Min Aung Hlaing, is expected to meet international leaders in Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, on Saturday. If confirmed, it will be his first known foreign trip since the army took power.

Min Aung Hlaing is scheduled to attend an ASEAN regional summit, where leaders are gathering in Jakarta for a coordinated international effort to ease the crisis in Myanmar.
