Tasiken comes from a traditional herding family in Nalati, Xinyuan County, Ili, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The 25-year-old has a special bond with horses, having herded sheep on horseback with his family from a young age. Now he has joined the Akhal-Teke horse breeding and training base in Urumqi, where he has learned how to combine gymnastics and acrobatics with horsemanship.
