An Indian IT worker shared a video of his Tesla car on autopilot saving a little piggy’s bacon as it crossed the road at night. Company boss Elon Musk replied to the tweet, praising the car’s ‘superhuman’ qualities. Drivers shouldn’t get too comfortable though, because a recent viral video showed a Tesla on autopilot slamming into a crashed truck on a motorway in broad daylight. In a survey reported by Bloomberg, 13% of new autopilot drivers said the system had put them in a dangerous situation, but 28 percent said it had saved their lives. Confused? Musk offered reassurances, saying that what seems fast to humans is slow to a computer (and probably bloody terrifying to a pig).
