Global News published this video item, entitled “Murder, terrorism charges laid in death of British MP Amess” – below is their description.

A 25-year-old man in the United Kingdom, Ali Harbi Ali, has been charged with murder and terrorism in the fatal stabbing of British MP David Amess.

Police have also revealed how they believe the suspect planned the attack.

The death of Amess, who had served in Parliament for almost 40 years and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2015, escalated concerns about security among Britain’s politicians, who pride themselves on being accessible to their constituents.

Global’s Crystal Goomansingh reports on the alleged activities, and what else we know about the shocking stabbing.
