ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Mum with two sets of twins joins call for cheaper abdominal repair surgery | ABC News” – below is their description.
Two pregnancies gave Kerri-Louise Hooper four beautiful children, but carrying two sets of twins also left her struggling to lead a normal life. The Hobart mother’s abdominal muscles separated normally during pregnancy, but they didn’t rejoin afterward, leaving her with a condition known as diastasis recti, or abdominal separation. A petition has been started calling for abdominoplasty for women with abdominal separation after pregnancy to be included in the Medicare Benefits Schedule. Subscribe: http://ab.co/1svxLVE
