    Chhatra Shankar was a familiar face on television screens in his home country of Nepal, presenting news for a major broadcaster.

    Despite his qualifications and experience, he struggled to break into the media industry when he moved to Australia in 2017.

    Shankar eventually found work on a Nepalese-Australian news website and on the Speak My Language podcast project.

    Speak My Language is a national initiative creating multicultural podcasts.
