RT published this video item, entitled “Move over, Musk | Meet Russia’s self-driving truck” – below is their description.
A Russian university has unveiled a self-driving truck that can distinguish road signs and recognize pedestrians and other obstacles. It moves using satellite navigation and a state of the art localization system that doesn’t require pre-installed digital maps, meaning it can find its own path if the geolocation service was to suddenly crash. Unmanned vehicles aren’t exactly breaking news, but the technology has yet to be implemented on heavy-duty machinery and could usher a huge breakthrough in logistics, transport infrastructure, and the general industrial sector. Still, keep an eye out anyway.

Great! A test unit, without millions of miles on the road.
