Sky News Australia published this video item, entitled “Morrison refuses to surrender Australian sovereignty as coal ships remain stranded off Chinese ports” – below is their description.
The Prime Minister maintains Australia will not surrender its sovereignty as trade tensions with China rise after shipping data showed about 53 vessels – carrying nearly six tonnes of Australian coal – have been waiting at least a month to unload. The go-slow is impacting about 1,000 people who’re trapped on board. The US Ambassador yesterday praised the Commonwealth for defending its national interest. Prime Minister Scott Morrison said the relationship needed to be a two-way street.
