ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Mongols bikie gang ‘decimated’ as seven more charged with Shane Bowden murder | ABC News” – below is their description.

Police have charged seven more men with murder over the shooting death of Gold Coast bikie Shane Bowden in 2020.

Detectives executed eight search warrants across the Gold Coast, Logan and Redland Bay, as part of an operation launched following Mr Bowden’s death.

He was shot 21 times in the driveway of his home at Pimpama on the Gold Coast in October.

Mr Bowden was once part of the Finks OMCG but “patched over” to the Mongols in 2013.

Just before he was murdered last year, Mr Bowden had re-joined the Finks bikie club.

Ian Robert Crowden, 46, was charged with murder on Saturday and is due to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow, with police alleging the president of the Brisbane West Chapter of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang organised the hit.

Eight men, aged between 23 and 41 were arrested as part of today’s raids, with seven of those charged with murder involving serious organised crime to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
