Modi announces coronavirus lockdown ‘to save India’

Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has announced the country will be placed in lockdown for the next 21 days as his government takes step to halt the spread of coronavirus. Modi made a TV announcement confirming the country of 1.3 billion people will be ordered to remain indoors to prevent a public health disaster
