Moderna Announces ‘Encouraging’ Coronavirus Vaccine Trial Results

Moderna, a Massachusetts-based biotech company, says its experimental vaccine against the coronavirus showed ‘encouraging’ results in the early stages of testing.

The vaccine triggered immune responses in 8 healthy, middle-aged volunteers by generating antibodies similar to those seen in people who have recovered from Covid-19.

The next phase is determining the size of the dose to best test for a defining experiment, to start in July.
