On the anniversary of the original March on Washington in 1963, the son and granddaughter of Martin Luther King Jr. addressed Americans who gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to protest police brutality.
Martin Luther King III called on Americans to “come together” and to vote “like our lives and our livelihoods, our liberties depend on it.”
Yolanda Renee King and her father both spoke about the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., with the civil rights icon’s son saying that his fight “is never ending.”
Martin Luther King III said Friday that the progress made when Barack Obama was elected president is “in peril yet again” in an apparent shot at President Donald Trump.
