COP26 is the shortened name of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference – the 26th United Nations Climate Change conference. It is being held in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, between 31 October and 12 November 2021, under the presidency of Alok Sharma.
Carbon neutrality is a state of net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. This can be achieved by balancing emissions of carbon dioxide with its removal or by eliminating emissions from society.
The phraseology has been in wide circulation in the run-up to the COP26 climate summit.
