China’s strict Covid-19 measures have forced many restaurants, factories, and other employers to close, while other businesses have cut jobs or wages. It’s estimated that 11 million young people in the country are struggling to find work in a market where there are only half as many jobs for every fresh graduate. Even candidates with postgraduate degrees are not exempt from the struggle.
