Sky News published this video item, entitled “Migrants face ‘broken’ asylum system in the UK” – below is their description.
A migrant charity has told Sky News of its concerns about the impact of leaving asylum seekers trapped in a ‘dysfunctional’ claims system for months and years.
According to the latest figures show the Home Office is currently dealing with 109,000 asylum claims – which involves those awaiting a first decision; those involved in the appeals process and those who are fighting deportation.
Sky’s Lisa Holland reports.

How come for during the last 18 years with a NATO backed democratic government the UK Afghan population has increased to 100,000, equivalent to a city the size of Lincoln. How come tens of thousands have been given asylum during this period, and how come thousands were back in Afghanistan visiting family and friends with their UK passports when they were given asylum as they said they had to flee for their lives. Not a single journalist has asked these obvious questions. All naturalised asylum seekers who go home on holiday should have their citizenship revoked.
