Sky News published this video item, entitled “Migrants caught in standoff between Belarus and the EU” – below is their description.

Afghan and Iraqi migrants are being caught in the crossfire between the EU and Belarus.

Alexander Lukashenko has threatened to flood the EU with migrants after the bloc imposed sanctions on Minsk due to its crackdown on opposition leaders.

But the EU has caught on, strengthening border defences and preventing the migrants from entering.

That’s left the migrants in no-man’s land with nowhere to go.
