Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Mexico migrant killings: Guatemalan families mourn the dead” – below is their description.
A week and a half ago, 19 bodies were found shot and burned in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
Among them were Guatemalans, travelling through the country to get to the United States.
Tamaulipas authorities said at least 12 of the state’s own police officers had participated in the killings.
The atrocity has been met with shock and sadness in Comitancillo, where many of the migrants came from.
Al Jazeera’s John Holman set out to talk to their families.
