Mexico’s President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador says he will ask for cooperation from his US counterpart, Joe Biden, in dealing with the increasing number of people heading for the border.
It comes after days of violent clashes, as Mexico’s national guard attempted to break up a caravan of migrants from Central America.
