Mexico’s capital has eased coronavirus restrictions, extending opening hours for restaurants and shops.

But the country has reported more than 3,800 new cases and about 530 deaths in the past 24 hours.

Having failed to contain the outbreak despite lockdowns, its struggling businesses have clamoured for the latest easing of restrictions.
