Mental health concerns in Indian-administered Kashmir

Indian-administered Kashmir is one of the most militarised places in the world.

Decades of conflict between separatists and the armed forces have taken its toll on the mental health of many people.

About 700,000 people out of a total population of seven million are thought to suffer mental health problems, according to a recent study.

Al Jazeera’s Bernard Smith reports from the capital Srinagar.
