In his remarks during an ASEAN+3 meeting on Saturday, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang highlighted better investment and trade numbers between China and ASEAN, noting that the bloc had become China’s largest trading partner. Trade in the Asia-Pacific region is expected to receive a further boost on Sunday when a massive trade deal – involving ASEAN and five other countries, Australia, New Zealand, China, South Korea and Japan – is signed.
