In a major scientific breakthrough, researchers have developed a technique to potentially create models of human embryos from skin cells.
The international team, including Monash University, believe their work could advance treatments for infertility, as well as neo-natal and genetic conditions like cystic fibrosis.
Director and Dean at the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute, Professor John Carroll, spoke to News Breakfast about the research.
