Since stepping back as a senior royal, the Duchess of Sussex has made it clear to the world that her work has only just started.

Having already become an actress, speaker, author, mother-of-two and a household name, Meghan has set her sights on being a voice for change next.

But as she celebrates her 40th birthday, Meghan now must deliver on the substance behind the suggestion of what she is going to do in order to create a legacy, says The Telegraph’s Associate Editor Camilla Tominey.

“She’s got that fame, but what she needs now is the accomplishment that goes with it,” says Camilla Tominey. “You can talk about what you’re going to do but you actually have to go and do it. That’s how you create a legacy around you.”

In the latest episode of Royal Insight, Camilla Tominey looks at why it is now so crucial for the Duchess of Sussex to move on from promises and use her platform to truly enact change.
