Vitali Klitschko, the Mayor of Kyiv, says around six buildings, including a pre-school, have been damaged by shelling in the capital.

The emergency services said nearly 100 people were evacuated from buildings.

Our special correspondent Alex Crawford was on the ground there spoke to Vitali Klitschko who was visiting the site following the attack.
