Mauritius oil spill: Initial oil leak stops, but prepared for worst, says officials

In Mauritius, the prime minister says oil has stopped leaking from a damaged tank on a Japanese ship but the vessel still has 2,000 tons of oil in two other undamaged tanks. At least 1,000 tons of oil were estimated to have leaked so far, and officials are preparing for the worst as cracks on the tanker’s hull suggest it will eventually fall apart.
