Matt James cast as the next ‘Bachelor.’ Former black cast members say it’s long overdue.

After 25 seasons, ABC’s “The Bachelor” announced Matt James as the show’s first black male lead on June 12. Fans have criticized the lack of diversity on the reality dating franchise for years.
