Matt Hancock will consider reviewing fines imposed during lockdown after defending Dominic Cummings

Matt Hancock has said he will discuss with government colleagues the possibility of reviewing fines imposed during lockdown.

The Health Secretary was specifically referring to fines given to families travelling for childcare purposes.

This comes after the cabinet gave their full support to Dominic Cummings’ decision to travel to Durham during lockdown.
