Matt Frei speaks to legendary actor Earl Cameron

As a young actor in Ealing Studios’ Pool of London Earl Cameron was one of the first African Caribbean screen actors to break the colour bar in the UK.

After a career spanning 70 years he’s to be honoured at the British Film Institute’s Black Star season, which celebrates black actors. Matt Frei went to meet the 99 year old at Kenilworth castle to talk acting, race and Hollywood.
