A 400-year-old village was engulfed in flames in China’s Yunnan province on February 14, 2021. State media reported that no one died in the fire, but its cause remains unknown. The damaged Wending village is home to the Wa ethnic minority group. Chinese National Geography magazine calls it the last tribal village in China.
