Marikana miners decry government’s housing distribution

The South African government has built more than 500 houses in Marikana.

That’s where 54 miners were killed in 2012, during a protest demanding better living conditions.

The mining community is now accusing the government of not distributing the new homes fairly.

Al Jazeera’s Fahmida Miller reports from Marikana.
