South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “Marijuana studies degrees offered at Thai university one month after legalisation” – below is their description.
Nearly a month after Thailand legalised the use of marijuana, a university in northern Thailand kicked off its new postgraduate programmes in cannabis studies on July 4, 2022. Payap University in Chiang Mai now offers a two-year master’s programme that costs 170,000 baht (US$4,750) and a three-year PhD programme that costs half a million baht (US$13,960). Most programme applicants have been business owners interested in diving into the budding industry, according to local media.
