Following the four-day manhunt for 34-year-old Eric Paul Wildman, who is wanted in connection with the homicide of rural Manitoba man Clifford Joseph, police announced Friday they have arrested Wildman, and charged him with unsafe transportation of a firearm and possession of a prohibited device without a license.

More charges are expected, said RCMP Supt. Michael Koppang on Friday.

Manitoba RCMP announced earlier Friday morning that Wildman had been arrested in a home outside of Belleville, Ont.

OPP said Friday they received a tip from community members in Prince Edward County that Wildman was there, and went to the home early Friday morning.

Belleville is about 2,200 km east of the rural municipality of St. Clements, where Wildman lived, and about 200 km from Toronto.
