    Talks aimed at solving the intense row over whether Greater Manchester should go into a Tier 3 lockdown have ended today without progress. Mayor Andy Burnham told Sky News he is “not just going to roll over at the sight of a cheque”. It comes after Downing Street warned that Greater Manchester’s entire intensive care unit capacity would be taken up with coronavirus patients in less than a month “if nothing changes” in the region.
