The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “Man critically injured in Australia shark attack” – below is their description.
A man is in critical condition after a shark attack on the Great Barrier Reef. The 59-year-old was out spear-fishing with a local group at Britomart Reef, Queensland, when the attack happened. “On arrival, he didn’t have a pulse, so I would say that’s not a good place to be in,” said Queensland Ambulance Service Senior Operations Supervisor Ray Hardy in Townsville on Sunday. He was initially treated by paramedics the Dungeness boat ramp at Lucinda before being airlifted to Townsville University Hospital to undergo surgery. Seven Australians have died in shark attacks this year, more than any year since 1934. Andrew Sharpe was killed by a shark at Wylie Bay, Western Australia, on 9th October 2020. Britomart Reef is a popular Queensland snorkelling and spear-fishing site off Hinchinbrook. ================================== Subscribe to The Telegraph on YouTube ► https://bit.ly/3idrdLH
