    Mali’s interim president, Colonel Assimi Goita, is expected to take the oath in the coming hours.

    Mali’s coup leaders have been under growing pressure from the international community since their takeover, with the African Union suspending Mali’s membership and threatening harsh economic sanctions.

    And the French president is suggesting pulling out troops from Mali if instability continues.
