For more:
Rioting continued in the South African port city of Durban on June 13, following a weekend of unrest that saw shopping centers in the area ransacked. The Watercrest Mall in Durban was pilfered by looters on Sunday. Similar scenes were repeated elsewhere in KwaZulu-Natal province and Gauteng, as disturbances followed the jailing of former President Jacob Zuma. Zuma is to serve a 15-month sentence for contempt of court, amid corruption allegations.
