London Attack: Attacker’s uncle says actions ‘not religion’ – BBC News

The uncle of Khuram Butt says he feels “ashamed” after his nephew killed “innocent victims”. Butt was one of three attackers who killed seven people and injured 48 at London Bridge and Borough Market on Saturday. His uncle, Nasir Dar, told the BBC it was a “shameful, brutal action” and said he had “very deep sympathies with all the innocent victims”. Speaking in Pakistan, he added: “No religion allows (this). This is not a religion.”
