    Authorities have reimposed health orders for the Northern Beaches. From 5pm Saturday December 19 until midnight Wednesday December 23 Northern Beaches residents will only be able to leave their home for work, compassionate grounds, exercise or shopping.

    Northern Beaches residents have been told to wear a mask at all indoor venues and stay home for three days, while residents across Sydney are urged to get tested for COVID-19 if they develop symptoms.

    23 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the last 24 hours, and authorities say 21 of the cases are directly linked to the Northern Beaches. Two remain under investigation.
