CCTV captured the moment David Perry’s cab became a fireball outside the reception of Liverpool Women’s Hospital, shortly before the 11am two-minute silence. The footage shows Mr Perry staggering out into the road around six seconds after his car blew up, with reports claiming he locked the doors to stop the suspect from running into the hospital with the bomb. Police believe the passenger brought the bomb into the cab and they are now probing whether the device failed to detonate properly.
