Livelihoods at stake: Mining in Indian-administered Kashmir

Mining has long been a way of life for many people in Indian-administered Kashmir.
But the scrapping of the territory’s special status last year led to changes in the way contracts are allocated.
And that has left some locals fearing for their livelihoods.
